Artist Statement:
Sydney Seagulls, set of three sculptures by Inna Moshkovich
120cm high x 80cm wide x10cm deep & each of the sculptures is 10kg each
Sydney Seagulls by Inna Moshkovich was inspired by Inna observing seagulls in Bondi Beach, as these gather in groups at different times of the day, be it in the early morning, late afternoon, early or late in the evening. The sense of community Inna observed through the behaviour of the seagulls in Sydney’s Bondi Beach is a comforting thought in these times of social isolation, when many people are far away from friends, relatives and loved ones with no sense of when they will be reunited in person again.
