Andrew Wood is an English sculptor. He graduated from the Falmouth School of Art in 1972 and has since exhibited internationally with solo shows in London, Milan and Paris, among other locations. His life’s work has been devoted to the Surrealist ideal, and his pieces typically begin through the process of drawing, before evolving into fully formed clay sculptures. He uses oil paint to match his corresponding ideas of colour and form.
Wood has received many public commissions and won several awards. His works are held by numerous private collections, including those of Christian Louboutin, Sir Elton John and Ringo Starr.
