Jeramie Carter Sculpture
I make things that are beautiful, sexy, strong.
I love making pieces that are visually striking. I want to cause emotion with my work.
That’s my job as an artist, to give the viewer an emotional experience and for them to be involved.
In the past the things that inspire me have included seed pods in the bush, a beautiful piece of timber, ripples in the sand, and a bugs wing. Recently though, I have returned to my passion for women and fashion. Stilettos, corsets and sexy lines will feature strongly in my new work.
I do still really like my natural work though so expect to see more of it,
it is an ever-evolving process.
