Mike Van Dam, Artist & Sculptor

Since 2010, Mike Van Dam, a New Zealander of Dutch heritage, has created sculptures.

Known for his stainless steel sculptures, Mike Van Dam uses chain links to create unique and aesthetically pleasing sculptures that are sold around the globe. In addition to working as a sheet metal worker, specialising in stainless steel, Michael Van Dam is passionate about contemporary art and sculpture. After extensive research, he chose this premium material for all of his artworks, as stainless-steel holds strong for hundreds of years. Michael utilizes 4 mm and 6 mm 316 marine grade stainless steel chain for his sculptures. These welded stainless links result in a sturdy and long-lasting sculpture. Ideal for coastal, commercial, and public settings, as well as opulent residences, hotels, and boats.
