Australian Artist & Sculptor

During college, I was exposed to the art of joining 2 pieces of metal with the process of welding. This technique has given me the ability to expand my creativity in the form of metal structures. My passion for this art form directed me into a career in industrial welding that lasted 22 years. Over time I honed my skills in numerous techniques used to form and join all types of metals. A career change away from metal fabrication has renewed my desire to make use of this form as a medium to express my creativity.

In my studio, I create contemporary sculptures characterised by clean flowing lines, elegant forms, and timeless design that are equally at home in small courtyards, or amid the strong shapes of bold modern architecture in urban and commercial developments. I mainly use a combination of Corten steel and stainless steel as I believe it allows the natural elements to change the visual appearance creating a timeless piece.
