Metal Garden Sculptures & Art

An outdoor sculpture creates a focal point for the garden or landscape. We have unique and limited edition sculptural forms from both established and emerging Australian artists that will make the perfect garden art for your space. Our Sculptors are experts in their mediums and take pride in creating high-quality, highly finished outdoor garden sculpture.

Metal garden sculptures Australia are a fantastic, timeless, and low-maintenance addition to any outdoor setting that will complement and enhance the natural beauty. Metal garden sculptures constructed from hardwearing materials resistant to the effects of the Australian climate are recommended for exterior sculpture. Sculpture constructed from Bronze, corten-steel, and stainless-steels are tried and tested against the elements – lasting for many, many years.

Stainless-Steel Sculpture

Stainless steel is a popular choice for garden sculptures and metal garden art, public art and outdoor features as it can be cast, fabricated, machined to create endless forms and finished with many different surface finishes and colour effects.

the beauty of stainless steel is that it does not rust and strongly resists degradation. There are different grades of stainless steel, for instance, a 304 grade is used on many art features, but where items are to be placed either in gardens or public places near the coast, a 316 grade stainless steel is often recommended which is even more resistant.

A mirror finish is one of the most popular choices, achieved by building up shine using various grades of polishing wheels. In some instances up to a whole month can be spent on this ‘polishing’ process of this metal art. Once it is polished, no re-polish is required as the finished will last for a very long time

Bronze Sculpture

When considering outdoor sculptures for sale, bronze is an excellent choice because it is resistant to corrosion and can withstand extreme weather conditions. Bronze is also a very strong material. So whether you’re looking to create a bold statement piece or seeking contemporary outdoor sculptures for sale that anchor a space, bronze’s structural integrity ensures that size is never a constraint.

Bronze sculptures can also have a patina applied – forced oxidation through controlled chemical and heat reactions producing a wonderful array of colours and finishes. This not only enhances the visual appeal but also fortifies the sculpture against external elements, reducing maintenance and amplifying its lifespan.

Mild steel is a popular choice for outdoor sculptures in Australia because it is strong and durable, yet still lightweight making it easier to work with. One of the standout features of mild steel is its impressive strength. When you’re looking at outdoor sculptures for sale, durability becomes paramount. With Australia’s diverse climatic conditions, it’s essential to choose materials that won’t just survive but thrive. Mild steel does just that. Mild steel can be easily welded and formed into any shape desired. Whether it’s intricate designs reminiscent of classic eras or contemporary outdoor sculptures for sale that push the boundaries of conventional art, mild steel’s adaptability ensures that every imagination is realised seamlessly.

Additionally, mild steel metal garden sculptures in Australia will not rust or corrode, ensuring your garden art stays beautiful for a long time.

Corten Steel Sculpture

For those with an eye for modern aesthetics and a penchant for pieces that stand out, contemporary sculptures for sale made from Corten steel offer a unique blend of form and function. Corten steel is a type of steel that naturally forms a protective layer of rust over time. This makes it ideal for outdoor sculptures and garden art in Australia.

Additionally, Corten steel is very low maintenance and does not require painting or treatments. Using Corten for outdoor steel sculptures is a great way to add interest and character to any landscape without having to worry about upkeep. They marry the rugged charm of weathered steel with avant-garde designs, producing pieces that are as much art as they are statements.
