We Start With the Site

Outdoor sculpture has to work with the site it’s going into: scale, sightlines, material durability, and the way light moves across a garden or courtyard through the day. We work through those site-specific considerations before recommending anything, rather than starting from a catalogue.

We draw on our roster of more than 40 represented Australian sculptors working in bronze, stainless steel, corten steel and fabricated metal to put forward pieces suited to the specific site, budget and brief. A private garden calls for something different to a public plaza or a vineyard, and the selection reflects that.

This is the same process behind our placements at wineries and estates, including the sculpture collection at Vamp Winery in the Hunter Valley, and across the sculpture walks and site placements we manage nationally.

Whether it’s a single piece for a private garden or a considered selection for a larger site, we manage sourcing, delivery and installation as one service.

How a Consultation Works

Photos, measurements, the view you want to anchor and a budget range. In Sydney we can visit.

2. We assess

Scale, sightlines, light, access, ground conditions and coastal exposure.

3. Shortlist & mock-ups

A curated shortlist, with photo mock-ups showing each work in place at the right scale.

4. Deliver & install

Footings, transport and placement handled as one service.

Do you visit sites?

Yes, within the Sydney region. Elsewhere in Australia we consult online. Send us photos and measurements and we’ll prepare photo mock-ups of recommended works in your space.

What do you need from me to get started?

A few photos of the site, including the view you want the sculpture seen from, approximate measurements, access details and a budget range.

Can you select sculpture for a winery or estate?

Yes. We’ve placed sculpture at wineries and estates including Vamp Winery in the Hunter Valley, from single pieces to curated collections.

What if the right piece isn’t the right size?

Many works can be produced at a different scale or finish, and most of our sculptors accept commissions for a site.
