Custom & bespoke commissions
Custom & Commissioned Sculpture
Custom sculpture made to your brief. ARTpark designs the work in-house with a wide network of skilled sculptors, then engages the right artist to create the final form: a bespoke garden or landmark piece, a custom statue, or a sculpture of a much-loved dog. Most of the sculpture you see here can also be scaled up or down, or reworked in another material and colour. Commissions usually take a minimum of 8 weeks.

A sculpture made for one place
A commission starts with the site: the garden, forecourt, lobby or landscape the work will live in, the way people move through it and how the sculpture should be seen. From there we match the brief to the right artist from our roster of more than 40 represented Australian sculptors working in bronze, Corten, stainless steel, stone and fabricated metal.

Commissions range from a new edition of an existing work at a different scale or patina, to a landmark piece designed from first principles. We manage the process from concept to completion, so you deal with one team while the artist concentrates on the work.
Budgets are set to suit the client and the project. We give advice and guidance early, and can put together a catalogue of options so you can compare scale, material and approach before anything is committed.
Custom and bespoke sculpture, with direction from start to finish
Every commission is bespoke: designed for one client, one site and one purpose. It might be a custom statue of a person, a custom dog or pet sculpture, a piece for a corporate foyer or a landmark work for a garden or public space.

We give direction and consultation throughout. ARTpark’s designers develop the concept with you in drawings, 3D models and renders, and maquettes, so you can see the scale, form and placement before anything is made. We then engage the artist best suited to the brief, whether that is a figurative sculptor in bronze, a fabricator in stainless steel or Corten, or a carver in stone.
How a commission runs
- 01
Brief
Tell us about the site, the setting, the budget and the timing. Plans, photos or a mood board all help.
- 02
Artist and concept
We shortlist artists and existing works that suit the brief, then develop concept drawings, 3D renders, maquettes or photo mock-ups in your site.
- 03
Approval
Scale, materials, finish and footing details are confirmed and signed off before fabrication begins.
- 04
Fabrication
The artist makes the work, with progress updates and studio or foundry visits where practical.
- 05
Delivery & installation
We organise footings and engineering, freight, crane access and installation on site, Australia-wide.

Questions
How much does a sculpture commission cost?
Budgets are set to suit the client and the project. Scale, material, engineering and installation are the main drivers. We give advice early and can prepare a catalogue of options at different scales and budgets.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on scale, material and approvals. Small editions can be quicker; large bronze or fabricated works take longer. We set out a timeline with you at the brief stage.
Can I choose the artist?
Yes. You can name an artist from our roster, or we can shortlist sculptors whose work suits the brief, site and budget.
Can you make a custom statue or a sculpture of my dog?
Yes. Send us photographs and tell us the size, material and where it will stand. We match the brief to a sculptor whose style suits it and develop the design with you before anything is made.
Do you offer 3D design?
Yes. We can develop a design as 3D models and renders, alongside drawings and maquettes, so you can review scale, form and placement before fabrication begins.
Can an existing work be made at a different size?
Often, yes. Many of our sculptors produce works at more than one scale or in an alternative material or patina.
Do you handle footings, engineering and installation?
Yes. We organise footings and engineering services, freight, crane access and installation, Australia-wide.
