We manage logistics from design through to install, so nothing is left for you to coordinate separately.

Large-format and outdoor sculpture brings real logistics with it — safe transport, siting, footings and base preparation, and rigging for anything beyond what two people can lift into place. We manage that process end to end, from a single garden piece through to landmark-scale public commissions like the Kirra Sea Eagle.

For private and commercial sites, that means delivery, siting advice and installation handled as part of the purchase. For councils, developers and larger commercial sites, it extends to engineering sign-off, footings and structural mounting appropriate to the site and the work.

We work Australia wide, and coordinate directly with builders, landscapers and project managers on site where a sculpture is part of a larger build or landscaping programme.

Interstate buyers make up a steady share of our private sales. Distance is a logistics question, not an obstacle: the same works, the same sculptors and the same installation support are available whether a piece is going to a garden in Woollahra or a property outside Perth.

How a work travels depends on its scale

Freight is costed by size, weight and destination rather than by a flat rate, so the practical picture differs by piece:

• Tabletop and interior works — packed and sent by courier. The most straightforward to move interstate.
• Mid-scale garden works, roughly 1–2 metres — crated or palletised and sent by road freight. Usually delivered kerbside or to a nominated point on site.
• Large and monumental works, 2 metres and above — dedicated transport, with a crane or hiab to place the piece. These need site access planned in advance and, in most cases, an engineered footing prepared before the work arrives.

Site access is worth checking early

The single most common hold-up on a large delivery is access, and it is easily checked before you commit. Worth confirming: the width of the side access or gate, whether a truck and crane can get close enough to the placement point, overhead power lines on the approach, and whether the ground will carry the weight of both the work and the machinery on the day.

Footings and installation

Smaller works sit on a paver, a plinth or directly on ground. Anything above roughly 1.5 metres generally wants a concrete footing, and larger and public works need an engineered footing with structural mounting appropriate to the site. We coordinate this directly with builders, landscapers and project managers where a sculpture forms part of a wider build or landscaping programme.

What it costs and how long it takes

Freight and installation are quoted per work and per destination, because a 40kg bronze to Brisbane and a 3-metre corten piece to regional Western Australia are entirely different jobs.
