Outdoor Metal Sculpture That Lasts
Bronze
Holds fine detail, resists corrosion and suits coastal and inland sites alike. Bronze sculpture.
Corten Steel
Weathers to a stable rust finish that needs no paint and almost no care. Best away from constant salt spray. Corten steel sculpture.
Stainless Steel
Reflective, modern and rust-resistant. Choose 316 grade near the coast. Outdoor stainless steel sculpture.
Copper, Stone and Glass
Distinctive colour and texture. Copper develops a natural verdigris over time.
Placement and Installation
Site access, terrain, ground conditions and lead time all affect what is possible, especially for large works that need a crane or engineered footing. We offer site visits in the Sydney region, online consultations with photo mock-ups everywhere else, and full installation across Australia.
Commissioning Outdoor Sculpture
Most outdoor sculptures can be produced in a range of sizes and materials, and many of our artists accept bespoke commissions for public art and private estates. Enquire about a commission.

Outdoor Sculpture FAQs
What is the best material for outdoor sculpture in Australia?
It depends on the site. Bronze and 316-grade stainless steel are best near the coast, and corten is ideal for inland gardens and rural properties. All three last for decades with very little maintenance.
How is a large outdoor sculpture secured?
Most are bolted to a concrete footing or stone pad. Where that is not possible, a heavy plinth holds the work in place. We handle this during installation and can supply plinths in marble, granite, sandstone and travertine.
Does an outdoor sculpture need maintenance?
Very little. Bronze benefits from a wax once or twice a year, stainless steel from an occasional wash (more often near the sea), and corten needs nothing once weathered. Powder-coated works may need an occasional touch-up.
Can you deliver outdoor sculptures around Australia and overseas?
Yes. We provide consultation, specialist freight and installation across Australia, and arrange crating and transport to major international cities.
What is the difference between a unique and a limited-edition sculpture?
A unique sculpture is a one-off that cannot be reproduced. A limited edition is made in a small, numbered run. Every work comes with a certificate of authenticity.
