Outdoor Stainless Steel Sculpture

Stainless steel is the material to reach for when a site is hard on everything else. It does not rust, it shrugs off coastal salt and full western sun, and beyond an occasional wash it asks for nothing — which is why it appears so often in exposed positions, near pools, and on beachfront properties.

It also behaves unlike any other sculptural material. A mirror polish takes in the sky, the planting and the building behind it, so the work changes through the day and across seasons. A brushed or satin finish does the opposite, holding a soft even light that reads as solid form.

This collection holds ARTpark’s outdoor stainless work — abstract and figurative, from garden scale through to landmark pieces for forecourts and public sites.

All works are engineered for permanent outdoor installation, and ARTpark advises on footings, siting and access. Commissions in alternative scales and finishes are available from every sculptor represented.
